Every player on the winning Super Bowl team on Sunday will get a $171,000 bonus from the NFL. But some of them will get even more, thanks to bonuses that are negotiated into their contracts.
For instance, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will get $500,000 from his team if he leads them to the Lombardi Trophy.
And he’s already earned $1 million in incentives this season, including $250,000 for winning the NFC Championship.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will earn a $500,000 PER YEAR salary bump if Philly wins.
But Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes gets a $1.5 million salary bump if the Chiefs three-peat.
The $171,000 that all the winners get is up from $164,000 last year.
All the players on the LOSING team get $96,000. That’s up from $89,000 last year.
